About OptiTech Analytics
OptiTech Analytics is a small consulting firm. We provide business, systems, and data analysis for federal, state, and municipal programs and the contractors that deliver them. Remote only, U.S.-based.
Experience behind our services
Our work draws on 15+ years of business, systems, and data analysis on government programs, gained as an employee of federal contractors and the City of New York. The services are on the Capabilities page; the agencies and examples are in the Portfolio.
We work between the business and the engineers. We're not the engineer or the policy owner. We make sure they understand each other.
The approach is practical. Figure out how the business really works. Check assumptions against the data where possible. Define what the system needs to do. Then keep those requirements tied to implementation and to what happens once the system is in production.
Partnering
We partner with firms that deliver government programs and need this kind of analysis on their team. If that's you, get in touch.
Four working principles
Start with how the work really happens
The documented process and the real one are rarely the same. Requirements built on the documented version tend to fail in UAT.
Let the data argue back
Stakeholder input matters, and so do transaction patterns, user behavior, and error logs. When they disagree, that's usually where the real requirement is hiding.
Write for the people who build and test
A requirement isn't done until a developer can build from it and a tester can verify it.
Use AI, keep the judgment human
AI tools speed up research, synthesis, and review. A person still checks every output and makes the call. Our AI rules →
